PASA UPDATE 2/13/23
I hope everyone had a great weekend.
As a reminder, all non-member participants of PASA are asked to exit the Club promptly following the completion of practice. Use of the locker rooms, hot tubs, playground, other pools, Game House, Fitness Center, and Clubhouse are not permitted by non-member participants or families. These amenities are reserved for the use of Alpine Hills members only.
For the week of February 20-24 our pool will be shut down. During our pool Closure our 11 and older swimmers will be joining in with the Ladera Oaks for a few practices.
Mon 2-20: NO PRACTICE Presidents Day
Tue 2-21 through Friday 2-24 our practice times are:
Orange/Purple group: 5:45-7:00 pm
Ladera Oaks address: 3249 Alpine Rd, Portola Valley, CA 94028
Swimmers should arrive in their suites as locker room availability is limited.
We should have 10 and under info available shortly.
Our next meet is STILL open for entries. PASA February 25-26 All groups should enter this meet.
I have attached our Meet schedule as I see it for the rest of the season. There may be some additions but for the most part this is what we will be doing. Talking with parents there is some confusion about meets I wanted to address. Once you have made yourself an account on FASTSWIMS.com you will start getting emails about meets opening. Unfortunately you receive emails for ALL the meets opening from here to Reno it seems like. And there is no way to filter our specific meets. Knowing our competition schedule will help you know what meets to sign up for and which to ignore. On the attachment I wrote who the host team will be. And as always please never hesitate to email me and ask.
I Have added CANDY meets to our schedule. The candy meets are an amazing opportunity for newer athletes to compete and learn how swim meets work. The dates seem solid the locations are TBD.
Shout out to Coach Laura who is CRUSHING her new role. The kids are engaged and look to be having a great time. She has been a HUGE addition to our already AMAZING coaching staff.
